This book is about Julie running for present her co-president is joy a deaf girl. at the end the water fountin girls make fun of her cause shes deaf so they got detion. but julie has a better idea. she goes to the libary an gets a sigh launge book and gets them out of detion and teachs them sing lanuge .when there done they go to joys house and tells her thier sorry with sigh langue and one of the water fountion girls says friends in sigh langue and a little smile apers on joys face. and then at the very end of the book julie wins the president election.
